Overview
Mission Statement
The Christadelphian Bible Mission of the Americas is organized for the purpose of fulfilling the charge of our Lord – Mark 16:15-16: “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
Our mission, God willing, is to preach the Truth of God’s Word in the countries located in North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean Islands; and to encourage and strengthen our brother’s and sister’s lives in Christ with pastoral and welfare assistance.
Preaching
Your donations make possible the preaching efforts in the western hemisphere undertaken by the many brethren and sisters who volunteer for short visits and long term assignments. Principle costs are for advertising, correspondence work and missionary family support.
Pastoral
Some ecclesias in the mission field have been in existence for over 100 years. Between the changing demographics of their membership, the deteriorating conditions of their country’s economies and emigration of their members to North America, these ecclesias are in need of regular visits and guest speakers for special efforts. Where progress is being made and new ecclesias are being built, the conditions are different but the need for assistance is no less.
Welfare
We are the only “safety net” available for many of the ecclesias we serve. We make every attempt to have welfare administered by brethren with-first hand knowledge of the situations on the ground. The huge disparity between the “haves” and the “have nots” hits home when medical situations arise. We cannot cure the world but we do seek to make sure the necessities of life are available and from time to time that major medical needs are met.
