Activities in Latin America
By Bro. Dennis Paggi, Chairman CBMA
Though COVID is still around, our ecclesias in Latin America have returned to more normal functioning.  We are thankful to report four convivencias were held in 2025 with Costa Rica, El Salvador, Ecuador and Panama sponsoring events. There was wide international participation from Latin America, and most of our teachers and leaders were local brothers and sisters. Much like our Bible Schools in North America, these events serve a number of purposes: spiritual instruction, fellowship, friendship and a place where our young people can meet each other.  With the emergence of the internet, many of the relationships (younger and older) which begin at a convivencia continue afterwards through regular communication. continue reading

Update on Refugee Brethren
By CBMA/C Refugee Working Group

The following updates from Montreal, Green Bay, and Des Moines highlight their progress, ongoing needs, and the many ways God is strengthening these families as they establish new lives and worship together in their new homes. May these reports inspire our prayers and support for the important work taking place in each region. continue reading

Visit to Mexico
By Bro. Dave Collister, Co-Link for Mexico
Brother Dennis Paggi and I decided to go to Mexico in October for our yearly visit and to give a study weekend for the brothers and sisters in the Guadalajara area. We had a pleasant flight down and were met by a smiling Sister Cynthia Paiva de Lopez. Brother and Sister Gabriel and Cynthia are the resident missionaries, and always make us feel very welcome. After we arrived at their house, we spent some time chatting and catching up, and then looking at all the fruit trees in their garden. This time of the year is very pretty in Guadalajara. The rainy season is almost over, and the flowers are all in bloom. The temperature is very pleasant, and the skies are filled with beautiful cumulus clouds. continue reading
