Activities

Bro. Martin & Sis. Lois Webster visited in January 2025, and Bro. Mike spend Sept – Nov there. Along with the Webster’s Bro. Mike is working on a “Focused Bible Study” program to help with outreach. The local members are now handling presiding and speaking duties, encouraging more in person involvement, rather than depending on Zoom with Kitchener Waterloo, ON, Canada. They have also become involved with the Ecclesia in Arima, Trinidad for shared services.

The little Ecclesia in St. Lucia has been in “maintenance mode” since the COVID pandemic. However, it is now showing signs of a positive development towards becoming a much more active and growing lightstand in their corner of the Caribbean. Anyone who would like to join us in this work is encouraged to get in touch with me. The brothers and sisters would love to have assistance on a short or long-term basis or even if you are just visiting on vacation including a day’s excursion from a cruise ship. Such contact is very encouraging and helps greatly in their appreciation that our fellowship is truly world-wide!

St. Lucia Visit
By Martin & Lois Webster, Kitchener-Waterloo Ecclesia, ex-Links for St. Lucia
There are times when an airline will surprise us. In our outward journey to St. Lucia on 11 January 2025 we left Toronto a little late but arrived 30 minutes early! The disadvantage of arriving early was that we had to wait for our taxi ride down to the CBMC apartment in San Souci a suburb of Castries, the nation’s capital. We quickly settled into the routine of daily life in St. Lucia, contacting members of the Ecclesia and friends within a day or two of our arrival. One of the advantages of having visiting missionaries is that the Memorial Service can be conducted in person rather than the members attending Kitchener-Waterloo Ecclesia via Zoom. continue reading

By Bro. Mike LeDuke, Link for ST. Lucia
I returned to St. Lucia for three weeks this fall from October 20th to November 10th, and the work of “Ecclesial maintenance” continued. The majority of the work during this visit involved assisting the local brothers and sisters with Bible classes, exhortations and with a variety of personal issues and problems. continue reading
